Penelope Pitstop is a fictional character who appeared in the Hanna-Barbera animated series Wacky Races, and starred in the spin-off The Perils of Penelope Pitstop (1969).

The Perils of Penelope Pitstop, a spinoff from Wacky Races which features Penelope as the lead character is set in the 1920s.

Here she displays a curious combination of ingenuity and helplessness. She often figures out clever ways to get out of perils, and is very athletic; if any sport happens to be mentioned, it is revealed that she was the women's champion in said sport in college.

Recently, she appears in the animated show Penelope Pitstop GT where she demostrates a high athletic performance, beating easily any man competitor..

Penélope Glamour (en inglés Penelope Pitstop) es un personaje de ficción que ha aparecido en varios dibujos animados.

Penélope también protagonizó Los peligros de Penélope Glamour, una secuela directa de Los autos locos, pero ambientada en los años 1920.

Ahí demostraba una curiosa combinación de ingenuidad e indefensión. Solía imaginar formas ingeniosas de escapar del peligro, y era muy atlética: si ocurría que se mencionaba algún deporte, revelaba que era la campeona femenina de dicho deporte en el instituto.

Más recientemente, ha aparecido en Penelope Pitstop GT, unos dibujos animados mejor ilustrados donde se destaca una formidable Penélope más moderna y sexy, que iguala o supera físicamente a cualquier competidor varón.
